Message from Pastor Paul
We celebrate our Independence as a nation on July 4. I think we would all agree our nation is under attack. Our country is in desperate need of Jesus and it all starts with prayer.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
What an amazing promise of God to His Church. Let’s replace the if my people with now is the time to Pray and bring healing!
July is my personal favorite month of the year and this year is even more special celebrating my 30 year anniversary with Jesus as my Lord and my Savior. How sweet it has been living for Jesus these last 30 years! Spending time at the beach on vacation to draw closer to Jesus and, as I am,
Prayer is dominating my thoughts and God is speaking to me as Pastor to lead North Glen Community Church into a new and exciting beginning that Jesus has for His Church!
It all begins with getting intimate with Jesus through prayer!
As we focus on Prayer as a Church, God will reveal to us how we are to specifically reach our community and our world for His Kingdom!! How exciting it will be to see what God has planned for us. One thing I know, it will be more than we could ever imagine or think when a church gets Fired up for Jesus!
Exciting times are ahead of us so let’s get together to celebrate Jesus and pray together!
Blessings as we Pray without ceasing!
Jesus Saves!!
News From The Children’s Ministry!
Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for all your hard work and service to our church during our VBS week! Our pirate theme, Arrrmor of God was a huge success! We had 43 children come through our church this week! How exciting is that!!????!!!
During the month of July our CM will be celebrating, Christmas in July by collecting items for Operation Christmas Child, which is the Shoe box Ministry. You will find boxes located at the back of the church. Items may include toiletries, school supplies, small toys, socks, underwear, socks, etc. Please take this time to help make a child feel the love of Jesus at Christmas. We cannot accept war toys or chocolate.
Student registration forms are now available online. Whether you are new to North Glen, a visitor, or member that has been attending for years we need to have a registration form on file for your child. These are used for emergencies, especially if you are not in attendance with your child. In the event of an emergency we need to know how to best get a hold of you or an emergency contact. Please take a moment to fill this out. If you would prefer we do have copies at church for you to fill out in person, please see me.
With summertime upon us, the children cannot wait to get outside! As a result we are having many children running through the church and outside on the parking lot. We want all of our children to be safe. We ask that once church is over to encourage your children to stay with you. We have had a few occasions where some of our attenders are being run into by the children and we certainly do not want anyone to get harmed on the parking lot! Thank you for your help!
The Children’s Ministry is always looking for help! We meet every second Sunday of the month! Please come by if you are being led to help out!

Mission Outreach Opportunities
Homeless Ministry
Our next outreach is on August 6th at 1000 and lasts until 1200. The homeless ministry leaves from the church to deliver food and clothing to the people in Baltimore and Anne Arundel County. As we meet the physical needs (socks, summer clothes, blankets, shoes, disposable bags to carry their clothing) of the homeless with the love of Jesus, we have the opportunity to bring the Good News to meet their spiritual health. Sandwiches are prepared on Fridays at my home in Dundalk.

Helping Those in West Virginia
With the devastation in West Virginia, we have an opportunity to reach those who have lost everything. My company is gathering the needs of the people and delivering them in trucks. If you feel led, toiletries, clothing, and canned goods will go a long way to help them get back on their feet. Items can be brought to the church ASAP and labeled for this outreach.
