A Message From Pastor Paul
Hello, NGCC!
We kicked off the Fall with a Prayer and Fasting Service on 9/11. This was an amazing time of Prayer. We walked away in AWE of Almighty God… His Presence was powerful! His people were hungry for more. God truly did something here at North Glen on 9/11/21.
We are planning on doing monthly Prayer and Fasting Services in November and December.
We started a New Sermon Series: A verse by verse study of the book of Jude: A Call to Spiritual War.
Church! It is 11:45 and Jude is sounding the trumpets for the Apostasy that is growing rampant in the Church in America. Jude is a timely message for today, warning the Church of an America that includes and is surrounded by evil and ungodliness. As America and the world try to censor anything that is against their ungodly, evil agenda, especially God’s Word, we are truly in a Spiritual War. Let us earnestly contend for the Faith by defining Love vertically to a lost and dying world.
It is time to wake up from our slumber and get ready for Jesus’ return for His bride – The Church.
I am very excited about our upcoming Community Outreach opportunities. We want to reach 1,000 homes for Jesus with door hangers explaining who Jesus is and what He has done for their salvation.
Our Fall Festival will be another great opportunity to reach the lost souls in our Community on October 17, 2021 at 11am.
As we live in these last days, let us be reminded of the Mission Jesus left His church to do.
***Matthew 28:16-20***
Let’s all FALL more passionately in love with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Be blessed in Jesus,
Pastor Paul

NGCC Ministry News and Events
Kingdom Kids Children’s Ministry
I love my tag line which you will see at the end of all my emails… “If you have a pulse, you have a purpose.” How many of God’s people have a pulse but no purpose? Our purpose is why we are here.
Now is a great time to have your pulse meet your purpose. We have a lot of opportunities at NGCC to get involved to use your pulse.
Our children are learning to “Fall” in Love with Jesus. Our older elementary-aged students will begin to learn where to find verses in the Bible and to read them out to friends in our class.
This Fall we will be taking a field trip to the zoo. We are also going to be doing an activity to help sponsor St. Jude’s hospital.
Many activities are planned…stay tuned!

Psalm 138:7: “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life; You stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes, with Your right hand You save me.”
DON’T let satan get the best of you.

Men’s Ministry
This ministry continues to be blessed by our Father God as the men of NGCC seek to draw closer to Him and strengthen our friendships with each other as brothers in Christ. It is exciting to have several new men who are now attending and becoming active with our church ministries.
Our annual summer cookout was great with a good group of guys which included some invited guests.
Our Men’s Fall Prayer Breakfast is coming up on Saturday, October 23rd at 9 AM. In addition to consuming large quantities of food (!), we will be blessed by a special guest speaker and will come together in prayer. Plan to join our group and invite a friend.
Stay connected to the Men’s Ministry and encourage a friend or brother who needs to get connected with other men on this journey of faith in Jesus. Updates will be communicated during our services, posted on our church website, the church phone app and the church and men’s ministry Facebook group pages.
Please share your thoughts and ideas for future fellowship and ministry opportunities with me. Also continue to lift one another up in our prayers.
Hebrews 10: 24-26 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Greeters Ministry
We had to move to the front entrance from the back entrance, due to fire doors being blocked by our greeting table. So… everyone who liked the back door entrance, I am sorry!
For the front entrance foyer, I tried to make a little improvement by getting two new pieces of furniture and moving the Prayer painting over the desk furniture piece. I was so graciously helped to clean up and assemble the furniture by Debbie and Carol. Just a few touches help to cheer up areas in our Church. We offer the bulletin and Daily Bread devotional as you enter, as well as warm smiles.
Maureen and Mary are now part of our Greeters group, which is a big help…so thankful!

There were many participants in our Spiritual Gifts class. The class was meant to guide members and frequent attendees to discover their Spiritual Gifts that the Lord has given them as believers, to use for His service and glory.
We still need to meet in fellowship and talk one final time to finish up.
I would love to have a time to introduce (in person) each of the Ministry Leaders in Church, so that anyone still not sure where they would like to serve could get further information about a ministry. We may have a “Ministry of the Month” flyer with a person’s picture to hand out at the Greeters table.
We are ALL part of the Body of Christ and have special gifts. These gifts, if used, help us grow spiritually and help the church function better. So, let’s use our Gifts!

Worship Ministry
I came to North Glen with no intentions of staying long-term, let alone leading worship! But I felt the Lord telling me I needed to be here. I had some help and we started with a few things.
We began to get blessed with ongoing growth of equipment and members of the Praise Team, accessing YouTube, computers. We began with only 2 people handling it all! We continue to grow, but it has been tough. We could always use more hands to help, so let me know if Music Ministry may be your gift.
I have been having some health and “old people” issues’ so we can use all the help we can get. Let me know if you have any questions.
I do not like the sin of gossip. I have been dealing with this for a while and nothing can divide a church faster than gossip. Please remember if and when you have an issue with someone to go directly to that person. Love thy neighbor. Keep Jesus first.
Be Blessed!

Coffee House News
As some of you know, we have been advertising the need for more hands to help Pastor Rick set up the stage for the bands to come in to lead us in worship. We also need individuals to help after the band departs to set the stage and conduct a sound check for Sunday morning church. Please reach out to us soon. Setup normally starts at 5:30, but that could change. Note, if we get more help, we can start booking more concerts!
At this time, we will be having Seven Love here November 20th.and they are exciting to have with us. Doors will open at 7:00pm.

Also, on December 19th, the Itzels will be performing their Christmas Special during our normal church worship service at 1100 until 1200. Invite your friends and family for a real holiday blessing.

It is very important that if you are feeling sick or been in contact with someone who was sick within 10 days prior to the concert, that you connect with us instead by Live Stream on YouTube.
